Liekkinä vedessä is a short film project written and directed by Helmi Donner. The film tells a story about three girls contemplating the aftermath of spending midsummer night together. One of the girls, Riina, is missing and the two others, Lila and Siiri, are trying to find her. Siiri, the protagonist, tries ambiguosly to communicate her romantic emotions towards Lila, but she is uncapable of understanding the messages. The plot is build around this problem by memory scenes of the previous night.
